Dear Mandelbaum families, I have known your father and grandfather for many years. He was a tenant of my father's, many years ago; I would bump into him on his walks in Le Fort, and most recently we became good friends. I had the opportunity to listen to his story of how he came to Canada, and built his business. He was one of the warmest, kindest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He spoke to me of his sons with such pride, not to mention his grandchildren! We loved talking about the stock market, and shared a few ideas. Last summer, he suggested I buy a stock, which I did, and made money with! He was a remarkable man, and I consider myself lucky to have been his friend. May he rest in peace.

Our late father, Aaron Chazan, was a dear friend of Isaac's for many decades. Theirs was a relationship of more than accountant-client. It was a true friendship based on mutual respect, dry humour and so many stories. I hope they are together now talking about financial issues, Cindy Chazan

Dear Mandelbaum family; my husband and I knew your Dad somewhat at the synagogue. Although we only spoke briefly...often just to wish each other "good Shabbos" your late Dad struck me as a very wonderful man with great Jewish pride and spirit.
