I was a babysitter for Tashie when he was about 3yr. old and still slept in a crib. Why spend money for nothing.. Tashie was a congenial youngster and remained that way the rest of his life. He was a founding member of the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Drama Group and performed with great conviction. At his wedding I overheard Chana tell my future wife who was my date " He is a good catch " Whether it was in Habonim , Undzer Camp, Camp Kvutza, The Drama Group, as a host when we visited Israel Tashie was all fun & smiles . On our Ben Gurion University trip Tashie got the men a tour of the Israel Air Craft Industry. He worked there for many years and was highly respected. He lived his life with a purpose, intelligence and a strong conviction.. This comes with no surprise knowing his parents and four siblings, it had to be. Dear Chanale and family, to me he was someone I looked up to and respected. He lived his dream and yes mine too. SHALOM TASHIE.

Dear Chana: I am so sad to read that Tashie has passed. He was at Unzer Camp when I was there in the 50’s. He was a terrific person and I still have pictures of us doing acrobatics together. He was always a good sport and had a nice personality. Deepest sympathies, ruby
