Dear Frieda, Jody, Norma and Shirley, Although we have not been in touch in the past few years, I have very fond feelings for and memories of Pearl and the times we spent together. As an aside, my cousin (and Pearl's dear friend) Bob Vogel call us Hiroshima and Nagasaki because her birthday was August 6th, the day Hiroshima was bombed, and mine August 9th, the day Nagasaki was bombed. He, being a Historian, felt that our births were as much a disaster to humanity as the atomic bombs were :). David and I send heart felt condolences. Edna

Pearl and I go back at least 25 years.... she always brought a smile to my lips when she walked through the door! She was an original, one of a kind, mind of her own and definitely made an impression with anyone she came into contact with! Rest In Peace, dear Pearl... you will always make me smile when I think of you! Bev Oppen/Oppen's.

My sincerest condolences the the family I have known Pearl since my childhood through her youngest sister and my best friend Norma. . I have many fond memories of Pearl’s wonderful and wry sense of humour and her unfailing graciousness. Our conversations were always exhilarating and mind sharpening. I know she will be missed by all who knew her. Rest In Peace. Lillian ( or as she called me, Lilly)
