Memories of Syd began with him living with Auntie Bessie. (Bubbie) He would call us "bums" for waking him up. There were pics of my parents in Acapulco with Syd and his late wife Lucille. He sold us auto parts at cost. He was a fixture at all family occasions. Always had a smile. He will truly be missed

I'll always remember that Sydney said that Alex's baby naming was the nicest he'd ever been to. Our politics might have been different, but the man had heart. Our condolences to Seena and the family. In strength, Andee & Ben Urovitch

Syd was always a favourite while sitting around with 'the boys' and shmoozing at the Y health club. Though unassuming, he never hesitated to share an opinion--often with a combination of wry wit and stoicism. He was one of the good guys. May his memory be a blessing.
