Dear Kennee and family, I was so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. And Paul’s. Seeing your mom’s smiling face brought back so many memories. The picture is just as I remember her. I can see her patiently watching a million of our “To sir with love” dance performances. Your mom telling us that JFK was shot. Hanging out with Paul. Whiskey sours at his Bar Mitzvah. Your parents were always so welcoming. I last saw Paul when he took my whole family on a sleigh ride on his horse farm. And I remember you and your mom coming to meet my eldest daughter at my parents house. So special to reconnect. Hopefully all your happy memories will help you through this challenging time. And knowing how many people cared about your loved ones. Much love, Joan

Pearl was my Supervisor at Jewish Family Services ( Baron de Hirsch) in the mid seventies . It may be she was one of the sweetest , kindest human being i have ever known . I loved her. . She cared deeply about our clients and her supervises. She treated us like her own .. She was also an able and organized administrator There were get togethers at your parents’home and Jack was very much part of these. And though she was a fan pf mine if truth were told it was I who was a huge fan of hers. Pearl remained close to Sylvia Benjamin another treasured colleague of ours. My great regret is having lost touch with your Mom, Kennee over the years. Her grace, her always open and welcoming heart will remain with me. The 70’s were golden years at JFS professionally and personally and Pearl was a large part of this. My heartfelt sympathies to Kennee and Pearls’ grandchildren who will bear her loss profoundly . Arlene Lutter

Pearl and Jack were so central to forming our wonderful community at Lake Patrick that Harry and I treasured the time they lived there as being part of a golden era. Pearl's gracious smile is what I most remember and being a lady to her innermost core. She has left a beautiful memory.
