Dear Richard and Brenda and Family, Steven and I are deeply saddened to hear about your loss. I’m sorry that we couldn’t be there to tell you in person. I have such fond memories of your parents from Stowe. Sheila and Howard would always greet me with a smile and warm welcome. About 10 years ago, Sheila spent hours with me discussing the pros and cons of launching a Drama School and I will always cherish her honesty and invaluable help. May all your wonderful memories be of comfort to you. Sending you all our strength at this most difficult time.

I have good memories of of Sheila, going back to my childhood, while attending the Dorothy Davis drama school, where Sheila was my coach on how to participate in their drama productions. Over the years when we met at Stowe parties we reminisced of me being forced by my parents to attend acting school, when, all I really wanted to do was to play hockey with my friends. Many years ago, as classmates at Emerson College, Sheila and I forged a friendship that endured over the years, despite our geographic proximities. I knew her, then, as a sincere, caring, fun-loving person. I knew her, now, as a loving wife, mom and granny. She always spoke of the importance of family, was immensely proud of those she loved and always exhibited her concern for others. She was a brave and amazing lady! May her memory be for a blessing. I was so sad (and stunned) to learn that Sheila has passed away. I saw her in August and she was full of life and laughter. My mind is flooded with countless memories of our families...many joyful and some, heartrending. The Dobrins and Lipsons were inextricably tied together for so very long and in so many ways. Sheila is unforgettable. My memories stretch back to when I was a little girl on Addington Avenue watching her put on make-up. I hope that your own family stories will help sustain you during this time of mourning and going forward. I am very sorry for your loss.
