Dear Ernie, Belle, Hersh and family, Sema and I go back 62 years. Sema was the sister I never had. My two girls called her Auntie Sema. She was someone that I could always lean on for support. She was always there for good times and bad. No one could have had such a true and honest friend like Sema. She never saw bad in anyone. When Sema moved to Toronto it was definitely a big adjustment for her, and also for me. We kept in touch constantly up to the very end. Rest in peace dear Sema. Love you and will miss you for ever. Our condolences to the family. Sandy & Alec Keses

So very sorry to learn of Sema's passing. We were good friends in Montreal and certainly kept in touch since she moved to Toronto. Sema was so proud of her Family. Sema was also very grateful to her Cousins Janet z"l and Jeremy and their spouses for the many years of care and support shone to her. May her memory be a blessing. Sema will always be remembered for her goodness and kindness. Marion

To Ernie, Belle, Hersh and family, our deepest condolences on the loss of your sister. We have many fond and loving memories of Sema. Whenever we were in Toronto, we liked to visit and take her shopping and to lunch. Her home always had photos of her family, especially the nieces and nephews and their children and her cousins’ children proudly showing the latest photos to us. Sema lived for these precious moments with family. She loved everyone and always had a kind word or two to say about them. Last year when we saw Sema in Toronto, she asked us to choose something from her display in the dining room. We chose a pink cake dish and she was so happy that we would have a memory from her, the dish is beautiful and so was Sema. We will always remember and miss you. Rest in Peace. Your cousins

Anna Klein-Lerner - 9 days ago

To Sema's family. My sincere condolences to all of Sema's family. I have been a friend of Sema's a very long time, way before she moved to Toronto. We saw each other often while she lived in Montreal and spoke by phone once she moved to Toronto. Each time I passed through or visited in Toronto we saw each other. She was always so interested in the goings on of my growing family, she never missed a birthday or holiday to send good wishes. She was always so happy to give us details of her own family. Proud of her nieces and nephews and their accomplishments always. Over the last few years as it became harder for her to go out she still was interested in all the goings on. several times when she couldn't go out she didn't even want a visit but spent her energy in updates on the family. I will miss her. Rest in peace Sema, my friend. Anna Klein-Lerner , formerly of Montreal now living in Jerusalem,Israel.
