I am deeply saddened to learn this news. We lost touch about 9 years ago when I left North America and this is a hard lesson about not letting friends go regardless of the circumstances. I met Lloyd in Northmount High School but the minute we reconnected in New York over Chinese food we became friends. My memories and photo albums are filled with wacky and exciting experiences. When you were with Lloyd, life was never boring. I loved (and fought ;) with him like he was my brother, and he will always feel like family. I am mourning him now, my long lost and loved old friend.

Our long friendship was strong and ever lasting. Such respect I have for you. Unbelievably intelligent, wickedly funny, exceptional at perseverance. I can hear your voice. I can feel your kindness. I have vowed to do one special thing every day in your honor. My heart is broken thinking about everything you won’t be here for. Ride on my shoulder my friend. You are the one and only Lloyd!

I was both sad and surprised to hear about Lloyd's passing. Although we lost contact over the years, we had great times together . Lloyd was a good soul, may he rest in peace. Ronny Dobrin

Where do I even begin to bring up shenanigans, the fun, the adventures, the laughs, the cries, the gossip, the sneaking around, the trips, the parties, with my dear friend Lloyd. Partying in Peterborough. Hours and hours of laughing and crying on the phone. Weekends in St. Sauveur. Scotch, Vodka, Cigarettes, music, shopping, fashion, friends and more friends. The memories of a generous, fun, bright, ambitious friend will last forever. May he rest in peace.
