Dear Fischer Family: My heart goes out to all of you. Karl was such a very special person. He was my first boyfriend, we were 13 yrs. old. We kept in touch with each other through Social Media. I had the pleasure of seeing him last October in Montreal. He was happy and he loved his life and his family. He will be in my heart and thoughts forever. He will never be forgotten. My sister Gloria wrote from Barbados: Just got the listing for paperman. Happened to look at the shivas. Karl Fischer..was in my high school year...was mr Outremont high, he asked me to a school dance...wow sad...was an architect...built big things in New York and Montreal. So sad..he was so cute. Nice picture..wow so sad! Read story once in newspaper about him..hard to imagine. Had pancreatic cancer for 7 years
