I did not know Mr. Chojnacki, nor did I know his family, but a friend of mine was so impressed with his obituary that she read it to me. I found it so inspiring that I clipped it out of the newspaper and now carry it with me in my wallet, to remind me that it is never too late to live one's dreams, and that hard time is no excuse for not living. I just thought his family might take some comfort in knowing that Mr. Chojnacki continues to inspire....

Dearest Chojnacki family, Lillian and I were a working team at Reader's Digest becoming friends since 1990. I met Marcel at one of our company celebrations where he impressed everyone with his dancing skills. That was the first taste of many great times to come! They made me part of their lives...with family get togethers, concerts and epic annual New Year's eve suppers. We have shared birthdays, weddings, holidays and anniversaries. Marcel's quest for accomplishment in dance, music and art has been a major source of inspiration for me. I hold his words and deeds of encouragement close to my heart. Lillian and Marcel have both been a special couple in my life. Rest in peace dear Marcel...your love of life, family and friends will always be with us!

Although I only met Marcel and Lillian a few times through my friends Wolf and Pauline, He was one of the most talented and loving people I have ever met; and he could hold his tequila with the best of them!! He will be truly missed. The world needs more human beings like him!!

Dear Lisa, and family, Please accept our deep condolences on the loss of your father. Please pass our sympathies on to your mother. Your father and mother along with a few others, for many years, until my dad became ill, formed a Belgium expat family with my parents. Together, they created many cherished and fun memories.

I played violin with Marcel for several years in CAMMAC. He was a wonderful kind man.
