Maureen & Philip Price - 19 days ago

Dear Marty, Steven, Barbara, Marla and Families, Our deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was a true 'Ashet Chayil' a woman of valour. Sukie was a very dear friend to the Prices and we all remember her with much affection. Sukie was most kind and helpful to us in our hectic Montreal years. Working with her at the John Abbott Library, Sukie taught me many things, both about libraries, but more importantly, about life. Whatever job you are assigned, do it with a smile and to the best of your ability. Stay out of office politics and have a good word for everyone. I treasured the connection we kept up for so many years after we left Quebec, through cards or phone calls for birthdays and holidays, and the occasional dinner together when we visited Montreal. May your many warm and wonderful memories of Sukie, bring you comfort at this difficult time. Sincerely Maureen & Philip Price and Family.

Donald Schreiber - 20 days ago

My deepest sympathies to the entire Nadler family on Sukie's passing. The Schreiber family grew up next door to the Nadlers and we all shared so much over the years. I fondly remember Sukie as the energetic librarian at the St Laurent branch of Talmud Torah who always kept "reminding" me of my overdue books. Last Rosh Hashanah an old copy of a Hardy Boys book turned up. Growing up as a classmate of Steven through elementary school and Herzliah High School, we shared so many events with the Nadler family- family celebrations, school events, waterskiing in Ste Agathe, skiing at Alta. My thoughts are with you- Marty, Steven, Barbara and Marla. May Sukie's memory be a blessing to all who knew her. Donald Schreiber, Los Altos, California

We first met spending many happy hours dancing together in church basements; wrapping Shabot to Share meals at Mada , and many hours spent at the Cummings House exercising and in the Craft Centre. Hopefully all these warm memories help lessen the pain and know that we are always near by.

Gina Loucks - 25 days ago

When I cared for some of Sukie's grandchildren one year, I felt an immediate connection to her. I enjoyed her wisdom about life, and her fierce love for her family. I was touched beyond measure when she came and drove Rebecca and Michelle Nadler to my wedding in Nova Scotia in 2001. Every year since then she has sent cards or called on our anniversary, and during Winter Holidays. I loved her. My prayers and thoughts are with her family as they grieve the loss of an incredible lady.
