Jerry was one of my best friends going back to the 60s and we had lots of fun together due to our mutual interests in the entertainment business. Although I eventually moved to Florida, we occasionally kept in touch. I just found out this news today and am shocked and saddened. To the Silverman family my deepest heartfelt condolences.

I knew Jerry through Sheila. He was a gentle fellow and many people attended his birthday party which gave him much pleasure. He enjoyed talking about radio with me as I have been involved in radio as well. Arlene and I send our condolences to the family and may his memory be cherished.
