Hy, Priva and Frank, we are saddened to hear of Rose’s passing. My late mother Zella was very close with Rose and the other Safran cousins as evidenced by the snapshots from the 1930’s. Their friendship was everlasting. I recall the Safran Cousin Club gatherings at our home in CSL and the many visits to your home on the Jewish holidays. The many free car washes at the Texaco were always greatly appreciated. May her memory be a blessing.

Dear Mr. Lambert and family. My deepest sympathies on the loss of a beloved wife and mother. I was a regular customer of yours 43 years ago, pregnant and with a toddler. I filled up with gas and realized I had lost my purse. Even though you had a long line of customers, you stopped everything. You immediately calmed me down, gave me water, and looked after my daughter as I retraced my steps to find my purse. You never hesitated to help me in my hour of need. I wish you and your family good health and long life. Sincerely Rebecca Daniel

Dearest Hy ,Priva, Chucky, Frank and Deborah, When We think of Rosie, of course synonymous with Hy, there is a sense of calm and peacefulness. The true definition of a loving and caring family, not only to her nuclear family , but to all of us. A dedicated daughter and sister as well. Rosie ,we will miss the annual Rosh Hashanah calls, checking on each other, knowing that we were still a family. We will never forget the tears of joy when our son was named for your recently departed father. RIP my dear knowing that your legacy is filled with happiness and pride.

Dear Lambert family, We’ve never met.I used to be the nurse at Pharmaprix on Wednesdays. When Rose was up to it she would come to have her blood pressure taken. What a fine lady who took what ever issues she had in a calm matter a fact manner( all in her stride). When she proudly spoke her family her eyes would light up.A very refined , classy sensible lady.. May you find comfort in your wonderful memories and support of family and friends. Be well stay safe and know no more sorrow.

Bruce Seltzer - 22 days ago

To the Lambert family. I have only known Rose for a little more than a year now and in that time I don’t ever think I saw her without a smile on her face. She never had a bad thing to say about anything and she always showed both class and grace on a daily basis. Polite and thankful are 2 more words that describe her as well. I always had warm feelings inside every time I spoke with her. She was very appreciative of even small gestures shown towards her. She will be missed!! It’s no wonder why her and Hyman were together for 76 years. My heart goes out to all of on your loss. Cherish the memories. I know I will. 😢
