Dear Plotnick family: I am truly heartbroken to hear of Abe's passing. I worked closely with Abe at LDS. I remember our talks, our meetings, he was always laughing and smiling and lit up the room. He was truly larger than life and I respected him immensely. Not only was he an adept businessman, but he treated everyone with the utmost respect and courtesy. A true gentleman. I sincerely hope that all of the wonderful stories which you are hearing about him and the sweet memories will help to sustain you during this very difficult time.

Our most sincere sympathies. We are greatly saddened that we are not able to join you at the funeral and the Shiva, but please know that we are with you in heart and spirit. It is hard to believe that we only met Abe later in life, prior to a trip to Russia and Israel, and then to live in the same building for the last many years increased our contact and the love, warmth and respect we felt for both Abe and Ruth. Abe was special... always positive, with a joke to tell, and a laugh to share. He will be greatly missed. We never part with those we love, as they are with us always in heart and spirit. May Ruth and the entire family all find the comfort in those memories that are yours to cherish and strength in the family and friendships of those who share this loss. May you all be spared further sorrow, and may special blessings be with you and yours today and always.
