Dear Rachel, Anita, Miriam, and Marcy, I am so very sorry for David's passing and am sending huge hugs to all of you. He always had a very special place in my heart and I will always carry the fondest memories of him. I loved our times at the beach together when I was a kid, bicycle riding, and eating bagels and sunflower seeds at your kitchen table. He always had a smile and a funny song for me, and he will always be remembered with great love, respect, and appreciation.

Dear Rachel, Anita, Miriam, and Marcie, I am thinking of you today. I had the privilege of meeting your father on several occasions. It was obvious how respected and loved he was and will continue to be. He beat all the odds and survived World War ll and came to Canada and built a brand new life. He met and married his love Rachel. Together they raised three beautiful daughters and were surrounded by loving son in laws and 9 fantastic grandchildren. David built a legacy of proud Jews and Zionists. He passes away as a giant among giants. He is a king. I always enjoyed learning about David's early life, and sharing that with me, I promise, will never be forgotten. In my eyes he was a hero. Anita, when you visited your beloved parents in Montreal, and when I phoned, and when you sometimes answered, I would ask, "how goes it in Montreal?" The answer was always the same," my father is swimming, then he is off to shoot pool, and then play cards." Our phone calls will never be the same, but I know your father is doing all that, free from pain, visiting with people who have passed away before him, and loudly singing Adon Olom. May is memory be a blessing.

Dear Rachel and Family I am so sorry to hear about the passing of David. Our families have known each others since we moved into our own homes in St.. Laurent and established our family life there. Those were the happy times where we enjoyed celebrations with our parents, and the birth of our children, school graduations and life cycles and my house made clean with the first Electrolux vacuum that I bought from David. My husband Joe Z'L. and David enjoyed being together and reminiscing about their life in Europe, their W.W.2 experiences and David's survival for a time in Joe's home town of Sondowa Wisnia. David's devotion to family were great examples and role model for the entire block where we lived. David will be missed by me and my family. My Heartfelt Sympathy goes out to you and your entire family. I hope that the good memories will make your life easier to bear without him.Thinking of you at this sad time, Paula Bultz.
