I first met Ron my brother in law in Montreal on a trip with his Sister Sandy to a cottage in Montreal. She warned me that Ron would ask a lot of questions but he was harmless. Ron asked me if I wanted to go for a ride in his beat up truck. What came next made we feel is this guy hate me already? What did I do? He drove off the road through what looked like a jungle smashing into bushes. branches etc. He actually liked scaring the shit out of me. Upon our return Sandy said Ron you didn’t lol. Ron said Barry you were scared ? Laughing. That was Ron a prankster. For me we had a passion for food and cappuccinos. If you liked that and cars you were safe lol. God bless you Ron May you RIP.

Dear Samara and family, I was very sad to hear of your father’s passing. My first memories of your dad was when I sold buttons to his company, Pasha Belle so many years ago. Years later, we did business together. He was always so kind, generous and an all around good guy. Please accept my sincerest condolences and may you cherish your memories of your dad, and may they always bring you comfort.

Had dinner with him mid Feb. We always went out together about once a month for dinner. I knew Ron for over 20 years. Boy did he know the fashion business. He had an eye that was unbelievable. He was able to pick the newest trends ahead of everybody. I'm really going to miss him. Just a super nice guy. My deepest sympathies to the family.

Devastated to hear this unexpected news. Met Ron years ago first at Montreal, with a friend/business associate, then later many more times, and we did some good business too, for many years ! These were his outstanding attributes :- • Always generous and paying for food & drinks. • Always friendly, easy-going, witty and smiling. • Always ready to go out & celebrate. • Always smooth, helpful & cordial in way of doing business. • Always spoke highly about his family & kids. Got the impression always, he created a fantastic family, and was proud of them ! Want to express my “deepest sorrow and sympathy” for the family ! Will miss him very much. My heart sinks at the thought that our paths will never cross again.

I am so saddned to hear of this news. I last saw him Mid February for a brief moment at a restaurant in DDO- I could see that he was not doing well, but as always he was happy to see me and me him. I had a special bond with your dad for a long while in the "Chain Reaction" days and the "Ronx" days. He looked out for me and he had a princely soul. I have many memories of him and feel so saddened that I cannot visit with all of you at this time. May his memory forever warm your hearts and may his soul rest in peace. My sincerest and profound sympathies to Jason, Melissa, Jonathan, Serena and Samara.
