Brian, Barbara & Lorraine my sympathies to you and your family, Your mother was a wonderful soul, I will always remember her waiting for your dad Archie or as she called him Arthur outside in the car to drive him home from the Shirt Bar. We use to always joke about your dad until he came out and he would always say what are you two laughing about which made use laugh more. A great lady may she rest in eternal peace Ray Barillaro

Dearest Barbara, Lorraine, Brian, and all of your family. I am so saddened to hear of your mother’s passing. We may not have seen each other in a very long time, but there is hardly a memory of my growing up that doesn’t include all of you. I may have spent more time in your house than my own, all under your mother’s watchful and loving eyes. Mrs. Auerbach (I can never call her Simone) truly was my second mother throughout my youth. Your photo, with her ever present wide smile (I can even hear her laughter ) captures her beauty and personality perfectly. I send my love, hugs and kisses to you all. I’m sorry I’m unable to be at her funeral, but you will be in my thoughts. May her memory always be for a blessing.

My dearest Lorraine, Barbara and Brian, I send my condolences. I was shocked to hear the your mother, Simone, had passed. Although I haven't seen Simone for quite some time, I still remember fondly all the hours, and days, that we spent at your hone. She was more than a neighbour, as you all were more as well, I always felt as part of your family. You all were like my sisters and brother, as Simone was like a second mother. She will be greatly missed.

Dearest Barbara, Lorraine & Brian, we were so sad to hear of your dear mothers passing. As I sit here and look at her picture, I can only remember the wonderful times we all spent together in our backyards and how your mom was like my second mother. What amazing memories of both an incredible woman and your dear father Archie. I loved them both so very much and as I get older, think of them often. Our deepest sympathies from myself and my family as well as from my mother (who just turned 92 and is sorry she can't be at the funeral). May she rest in peace as she joins your dad, hopefully sharing some of her amazing cooking and a nice glass of wine on a a beautiful white balcony in heaven. May you all be spared any further sorrow, -Bradley

Simone was a very special person. She was one of my mother's (Rose) best friends. I remember Simone's house always being open to us. She was warm and generous. Her house was full of children (friends). We didn't have a car. Simone would take us places and it meant much to me. I will never forget Simone.

Dear Barbara, Brian,Lorraine and all the kids. So sorry for your loss as I knew Simone for almost a lifetime. An energetic and devoted soul to Archie and all the children. Great host in her house for pool parties and bar b q,s. She would encourage dance, music and most of the dreamed up projects of her children. I remembered her as a jovial character who would engage in awesome laughter with Archie who had a very quick wit and amazing sense of humour. May you all cherish the good times and know of no more further sorrows.
