To Shirley's Family: My sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Shirley - mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, family member, and friend. I remember Shirley from decades ago when she, Marion & Zelda worked for the Quebec Heart Foundation with my late mother, Fanny Goldner. She was a tremendous worker and gave so much of her time to the organization. I used to call her from time to time after my mother passed away just to reminisce. May the family be comforted as the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and suffer no more sorrows.

Dear Marcia and Family, My deepest condolences on the loss of Shirley. Not only was she my neighbour for over 30 years, she was my good friend, big sister, and a true mensch in every sense of the word. When my mother died, not only was she close by, she was consoling and caring. After I moved to Toronto, there were many phone calls and she would be the first one I called when I came back to Montreal. We'd sit in my kitchen, drinking coffee, eating a slice of one of her delicious chocolate cakes or her world famous rugelah, laughing and catching up. She was so proud being a bubby and of her children's and grandchildren's' accomplishments. Shirley was one of the nicest and finest ladies I knew, genuine in every way. I know how much you will miss her - so will I. With love, Natalie
