A very talented woman who lived life to the beat of her own music and artistic acumen. She was kitten to her love Uncle Sol and is now with him forever more.

Elizabeth, in five days you would have celebrated your ninety seventh birthday. I met Liz at the Shaar Meals on Wheels. She was an independent intellectual, elegant, sharp and articulated lady with a strong sense of humor. Liz was an amazing painter and sculptor. She took great pride in her house that was renovated and decorated in the sixties, by her beloved sister Pearl Merson, who was an architect. Liz completed her Masters degree in McGill university and worked as a medical social worker in the Reddy Memorial hospital. I extend my deepest sympathies to her family. Rest in peace Liz.

I, too, knew Liz through Meals on Wheels at the Shaar, having made deliveries to her throughout the years. She always greeted me with a smile and a positive attitude and was so appreciative of the program. I extend my deepest sympathies to her extended family with the prayer that those who mourn be spared further sorrow.

Sincere sympathy to the family of Elizabeth. I met her at The Shaar Meals on wheels, where she would visit to chat about her wonderful talented late husband. She loved the arts, was a ballet dancer in her youth, and was proud to be a social worker. Independent and dignified, old age was challenging For Liz. It was my pleasure to have known her & been able to help her . Rip Liz.

To Liz's Family, I had the pleasure to have met and to have spoken to Liz on several occasions when delivering Meals on Wheels from the Shaar. She was a most elegant and refined woman. She had great pleasure in showing me her many sculptures. Wishing you cherished memories of a very charming and cultured woman. Best wishes for good health and long life.
