Paul Nathanson - 20 days ago

Many years ago, I was at a greeting-card store near the Guy Street metro station. Leafing listlessly through a big pile of cards, I came across a particularly beautiful one. It looked, I suddenly thought, just like something that Hy would have painted. And sure enough, it was his painting. How many accountants are also painters and film lovers? I always enjoyed talking to Hy about the arts, travel and so on. I'll miss him.

Paul Skolnik - 20 days ago

Dear Lyn I worked in the same accounting firm with Hy over 50 years ago. Although it has been a long time since I left accounting for law, I occasionaly spoke with Hy over the years. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. He was a kind, respectful, trustworthy gentleman, I will miss him

I will always remember Mr. Peskin, w/his lively sense of humour, his wit & intelligence. An inquisitive mind, always solitaire w/his people, for sure, & humanity at large, as he was also a compassionate man. I’m very sorry to hear that he passed on from this world. May he be remembered for a blessing among the mourners of Jerusalem. May you be spared further sorrow.

Jeffrey Wagman - 25 days ago

Dear Lynn I am very sorry to hear of Hy’s passing. I have fond memories of Hy from all the years he spent working alongside my father. His emails he would share and his conversations each time I would pass by the office were always enjoyed. I hope his memories make this difficult time easier.

Mark Gordon - 25 days ago

Dear Lynn, So sorry to hear about Hy. I know you shared many wonderful memories - at home, working together at the office and travelling. In his later years, you can take comfort in knowing that you cared for him at home, and then at the residence where you visited him often until the restrictions came into place. I'm thankful I was able to bring books during the pandemic knowing that they would bring him pleasure and help pass the time. The last time I actually saw him, the three of us were sitting outside and he was very cheerful - I will always remember him that way.
