To Rose's Family-Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Rose. I met her when she first moved to Maimonides, to the same floor as my father. My whole family had a soft spot for her. Sometimes I would ask her about her life, and she would tell me about where she lived when she was first married. She did not enjoy the food at Maimonides, but sometimes I would peek into her room and see her enjoying a bag of chips. We will miss her.

Dear Family, my heart is sadden from the passing of my favorite cousin,Rosie! I had seen her last December. I would ask her how she is celebrating her birthday in April , and if she is having a party? She said no! I commented you should have one! And she asked me If I would be there! I answered her Without a thought I would be there! but her answer would be to me, "it is just another day!" I told how young she looks so good and she would say, " me! naw I look awful !!" I would comment to Rosie, you look like a picture of good health! and I would hug and kiss her as she did the same to me! Bless her soul! She is truly one a kind! I will miss her talks with me! Those memories will be for me for ever! May she rest in peace. with all my love , Alan Goldstein

Dear Jeffrey,Kathy,Hilda and Family, My mother and I are just devastated to hear of Rosie’s passing. On Saturday my mother told me how she had tried calling Rosie to wish her a happy 99th birthday. My mother has lost a really true friend. Rosie and my Mom shared a cherished friendship for so many years. I have so many fond memories of the Lerners from my childhood. At the Castel Rosie and my Mom were neighbours once more. After when they both had to move the went to separate residences but they always kept in close contact with each other. Just a couple of months ago my mother with the help of her caregiver went to see Rosie at Maimonides. They were so happy to see one another. Please know that we share in your sorrow. Rest In Peace dear Rosie. With love, Barbara and Edith
