I am so sorry for your loss. Elsie was a friend of my late mother, Kathy Ehrenwerth . Mummy and Elsie also played bridge together. One vey cold winter day my husband and I were returning by train to Montreal from a trip to New York and were surprised to have Elsie and Natalie as our travelling companions.. We spent several hours on the train with them as the train was extremely delayed with problems due to the weather. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Evelyn and David Kirsh

We are so sorry to hear of Elsie’s passing. Our mother Lois Fainer enjoyed her company on 5th floor Kastner, especially her 100th birthday celebration. You were lucky to have had her for as long as you did and we hope all the good memories that you cherish will help at this difficult time.

With fond memories of Elsie and the Wednesday Maj group. I have the old movies of a costume party at our home, and remember how the group would put aside money each week so the "girls" could go away for a weekend together to play. With sincere condolences to Elsie's family, Susan (Goldie's daughter)

Dear Polonsky family and dear Segal family, Elsie was a kind, warm woman who always seemed to have a smile on her face. I last communicated with her when she lived next door to my mother Pearl Feintuch on Rembrandt. But through Muriel, I’ve known her for many years. I am sorry for your loss but fortunately you had your mother for a long time. May your memories be a comfort now and forever.
