Dear Schwartz Family, Doris was an original! We worked at 5151 many years ago. She was a great friend of the late Rosita Blitz, z’l, another original. Doris was full of common sense, humour, and wisdom. A lively, warm lady to know. Though it has been many years, she will be missed and remembered. Rest In Peace, Doris; you are now in heaven with Harry, Simon, and friends and family, keeping them happy. Rachel

DearFamily Schwartz, I had the chance to work at Allied Jewish Community Services in the 70's and the priviledge to have known Doris. She was a remarkable human being! Then, she worked in the Bronfman Foundation, in the same building. I have always admired her! Rest In Peace Dear Doris.

I have the fondest memories of this remarkable woman, my aunt Doris who I got to visit several times a year when I was in Montreal to visit my son Jared when he attended Mcgill. Her mind was still razor sharp as she recounted stories of my childhood. She is missed by the Schwartz family.

So sad to hear of the passing of my Auntie Doris - one of the last links for me to my family growing up in Montreal. Through the years I admired her intelligence, wit, curiosity, fortitude, great zest for life, and her love and devotion to Uncle Harry. She was a beautiful lady both inside and out. Rest in peace Auntie Doris.

Dear Family, I worked with Doris at Allied Jewish Community Services in the 70’s where she was so well respected, admired and noticed. Clearly as a woman she was ahead of her time and encouraged those of us who were younger to have confidence to speak up. May you be comforted in knowing that her life was well lived. May she Rest In Peace.

Doris was a remarkable woman. I knew her from Cummings centre where she volunteered. She loved music and arts. I enjoyed being with her when she saw me. Arlene Fels

Doris and Harry were dear friends of my late parents, Pearl and Harry Witenoff. Their last vacation was a cruise to the Panama Canal which the 2 couples really enjoyed. I have many memories of Doris and Harry coming over to our house. They were both such warm and friendly people. How wonderful that Doris lived such a long and happy life. My condolences to her entire family

Dear Family of Doris Schwartz... My thoughts are with you in memory of Doris... a colleague, mentor and friend, we worked together at Allied Jewish Community Services over many years. I was a fan. In her passing, she is embraced by the tradition that her soul is linked forever to the chain of life...her days and years well-lived and well-loved. Now rest in sweet eternal peace, old friend .
