Dear Janet & Gail & Family - I was saddened to learn of your beloved mom’s passing. Such sweet memories and smiles surface as I think of your mom as well as your dad. Our parents’ friendship was very special. I was looking through photos and found one of your mom with my mom and dad on the beach in Florida in the 1980s. It speaks volumes of the love and closeness they shared, together with your dad. Carol, Jerry, Polly & Irwin — they’re all gone but are forever in our hearts. Sending hugs and deepest condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother. May her memory be for a blessing. Love, Ellen

Dear Gail and Janet, My heartfelt condolences to both of you for the loss of your beloved mother. Gail, as we have reconnected in the past few years, it was easy to see that you were such a loving and devoted daughter to your Mom. And from reading the obituary, I can see that the devotion was as well shared with your sister. How lucky was she to have had you both caring for her so much! I remember your Mom well, as I spent so much time of my childhood in your home, and always feeling so welcome! I wish you both strength during this sad time....the end of an era, and I hope the loving and wonderful memories you have, will remain in your hearts forever! Fondly, Wendy

Janet & Gail, In reading about your mother, I am reminded of all the times at an earlier phase of all our lives, Carol and Jerry and my parents Sarah and Joe were together...and if it was the weekend your Dad, and mine, and Sid Wald and I (being the kid in the foursome) played at Green Valley. Those are wonderful memories...not to be forgotten, just as your memories of your mother will stay with you forever. May she rest In peace. Be strong. Dick (and Bobbie Brooks) Pomerantz Westtown Pa

Dear Janet and Gail. Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother. You have posted such a beautiful photo of Carol, just as I remember her way back when last century when we were all growing up together in Montreal. Always a woman of spirit and laughter, I can still see her in my mind's eye in the house on Fulton. I remember one time we found baby squirrels laying on the pavement of the driveway. They had fallen from the nest. Your mom didn't panic or tell us to leave them alone. Instead, she called animal services to take them away so they wouldn't die or suffer. May her memory bring you peace and solace at this difficult time.
