Saul Stark - 14 days ago

Dear Frank, Susan, and family, Please accept our heartfelt condolences to you all on Edie's passing. You were both very young children when we were were neighbors long ago. Not sure if you remember us. We became close friends with your Mom and Dad as we were both young couples raising young families. In the years since that time, we often spoke so fondly of your Mom and Dad. It is unfortunate we lost touch. We will remember your Mom as a fun and kind friend. A real lady! It is not surprising that so many colleagues and friends have said the same here. We are so pleased to learn that she had the joy of a large family with so many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. May Eddie's soul rest in eternal peace and may you be comforted by your cherished memories. Saul and Hilda Stark

Ann (nee Kogan-Capelovitch) and Abe Winter, New York Dear Family, It is with great sadness that I received the news of the passing of Cousin Edith. I have very fond memories of Edith; going back to the days of my youth spending summers together in Lac Brule. Our Kogan country home was just down the road. Although I was a mere pre-teen: Under desperation, I was often called upon to be a fourth hand at Canasta. Cousin Edith was the epitome of an Elegant Lady with a smiling face and always Kindness in her Heart. May your loving memories of Edith bring you strength. Ann and Abe Winter.

My deepest sympathy on the passing of Edith. We grew up together and were very close friends; I was known as the adopted sister (our birthdays are 10 days apart) We spent many summers at the family compound in Lac Brule and baby-sat Beatrice's children when they lived in Park Extension. Once Edith & Earl married (I was still single) we drifted into different social circles. But I will always remember our "growing up" years. Treasure your memories and take comfort that Edith & Earl are together again. RIP, dear friend. Ruth & Archie
