Dear Lipton family, I'm very glad to have known Dorothy from my teaching days at Solomon Schechter, where she was most helpful to me in both roles she held at the school. No matter what the situation, she was always pleasant. I especially enjoyed her sense of humour, and I can still hear her voice. Dorothy was a big asset to the school. My deepest condolences to you all. May her memory be a blessing.

I have many fond memories of Dorothy at Solomon Schecter. She used to call on my friends and I often to sing the birkat hamazon at lunch on the microphone. My condolences to the entire family

My deepest condolences to the family of Dorothy Lipton. My late Mum(Sylvia Davidson) was a lunch monitor at Solomon Schechter for many years. Dorothy was the supervisor of all the lunch monitors and Sylvia admired her greatly. I had the privilege of meeting Dorothy on a number of occasions when I used to pick up Mum and we offered Dorothy a lift home. What a personality. May she rest in eternal peace. Kindest regards, Dorrie Davidson

I have many fond memories of Dorothy and Arthur Lipton from my childhood. My parents Estelle and Arthur Schwartz were good friends of the Liptons for many years, and they often socialized. I remember Dorothy as a lovely, friendly and funny woman. Sending my condolences.
