Hi Joel, I guess it’s a bit late now, but I regret that we lost touch after being such good friends and cousins in our early years. Being in different cities was a big factor for sure. I was shocked and saddened to hear you’d left so soon. See you on the other side cuz. Much love.

I was deeply saddened to hear that Joel passed away. It happened so quickly that it’s quite shocking. Over the last ten years I would often bump into Joel in our building. He was always friendly, warm and had a sarcastic sense of humor that was fun . We will all miss him. Rest In Peace Joel.

This is such sad news. I knew Joel... forever? He and my Dad were good friends and I loved being the little kid who got to hang out with them. I'll miss his "coffee voice" (as I called it). Today is a sad day...

Very sad news. I will miss Joel’s sardonic wit and conversing with him in the lobby of our apartment building. I did not know Joel well but was always touched by his concern for others. Rest In Peace

To the Kollman Family, Joel was our neighbour for over 15 years. he was, to us, impish and had a way of presenting things in a sarcastic humorous way, which of course, made us smile. Our apartment building today is very sad and tears were shed upon hearing the news of his passing. We will miss the moments he spoke with us and he will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace, Sandy and Peter Silver

I remember Joel at Skirt Togs when he was connected to The kids division, Happy Tree, with the late Sonny Schwartz. Hard working Guy , Collegiate dresser, good sales skills. He had a great sense of style about himself and the line he represented. Those were great year's, The 70's threw it all at you at a very fast pace... Lost track of him thereafter. Rest in peace Joel, nice memories, sad ending, too soon.

Yo Joel; I'll miss you .... so much! You were always there, always stayed connected. We shared so many moments and views of the world, and it all started on Circle Road. Yes; this s a letter to you and I just have to say what a treasure your friendship has been over these many years. I will miss laughing with you and arguing and listening to you tell me I am crazy and what to do! Never good bye while my heart beats!
