I echo my brother Dan in that Ben and Eve treated us like grandkids and were always very warm towards us. We have great memories of going up north to Deauville and swimming in the lake and Ben would be in the canoe watching over us. He was very active and sporty until his accident and was a smart guy to talk to. Once sat down with him at length and he discussed his time in the British army in World War II. We will sorely miss him along with Auntie Eve who were great people.

Dear Lloyd, Ruthie and family, I wanted to pass on my condolences to you and the entire family. I know it’s not been easy the last number of years. I wanted you to know our thoughts are with you. Auntie Eve and Uncle Ben were very special to us and I have many great memories of our time together at their house in TMR for family events and at their country house. They were always like a third set of grandparents to us.

Dear Lloyd and Ruthie and whole Sevack sympathies on the loss of your dear father, grandfather, great grandfather. For us he was Uncle Ben along with Auntie Eve who sadly passed away last year.We miss them both. It was my late mother Ann Weinstein who was responsible for inviting her sister from Brooklyn to a New Year’s party. To which Ben was invited too . The rest is history and by May of that year they were married. We as a family were delighted to gain family and cousins. We celebrated all the holidays and birthdays and special times together in the country and Montreal.very special memories. We hold all the good times together in our hearts ..we faced together many difficult times and challenges together too. We will keep all our memories close to our hearts.Love Donna and Irwin and family

Dear Sevack family. I had the honour and pleasure of doing business with Ben for over 30 years. He was a very fair and decent man and always with a warm smile on his face. We used to have lengthy discussions about horses politics travel and food. Ben's face would illuminate with great interest on any of these subjects and he was no doubt an impassioned man who lived his life to the fullest. To reach 101 wonderful years and to leave a legacy of children grandchildren and great grandchildren, is an incredible accomplishment. May the wonderful memories of you dad give you sustenance and may you be spared further sorrow. Gary Mintz
