Dearest Maureen, Mark and Kenny, so many warm memories, so many laughs with you, Sam, Freda, Havie, Judy and Mattie!! You could take Aaron out of New Jersey but you couldn’t take the New Joysey out of Aaron. Mr Cattleman was larger than life!! He had that smile and that love of family, life, sports, work and people. So many years have passed and so much has changed but the memories of you, Maureen, and of Aaron and the boys remain vivid . Much love , Arlene

Peter Brotman - 10 jours

Dear Maureen & Family: It was a sad notification of the passing of a very nice man: Our families go back many, many years to when we were toddlers. I don't exactly recall the first time I met Aaron, but I think it was when he was managing the Miss Dorval restaurant on the West Island. I have not seen Aaron for many years but he was often in my thoughts. I was i n the Hospitality Industry and not only was Aaron was a very good customer, but he was a fine person and nice to deal with. I moved away many years ago, so unfortunatley I never was never able to taste his famous pizza. May the many fond memories of Aaron carry you into the future, and may he rest in peace. Sincerely, Peter Brotman, Thornhill, Ont.

Nina and Allan Miller - 10 jours

Dear Maureen: Allan and I were very saddened to hear about Aaron. Many memories come flooding back-our friendship, spending time with the 2 of you, crowing at me from the first floor of Neiman Marcus (private joke). Aaron had a warm engaging personality and judging from all the messages was very well liked and remembered by so many people in the community even after so many years. May your precious memories help comfort you in the days ahead.

Mark, I have so many fond memories of our fathers running their businesses in the Cavendish Mall during its heyday. Warm memories of way too many pizzas and hamburgers during all too short dinner and lunch breaks in between selling shoes. It’s a moment in all our lives that will be etched in our hearts and memories forever. May you eventually find comfort in your memories of a wonderful warm and giving man who gave all of us mall rats memories of a lifetime.

To Maureen and family; I heard from my sister (Rhona) that Aaron wasn't doing that well health wise. He was a 'giant' in so many ways and held court at the Mall with all the other store owners. I remember him as a really really nice guy. Too bad he didn't pass on the pizza recipe to a Montrealer...we are presently all clinging on to "the good old days" :) Hopefully all the good wishes will put a smile on all your faces. Heartfelt condolences to all.

Jonathan Isenberg - 12 jours

To the entire Blutman family, I wish to offer my sincerest condolenses on the passing of Aaron who i will always remember as a kind and gentle man who was always so nice to me and my crew... If we didn't have money that day for a slice of pizza , he would say pay me next time you come in which we always did. I grew up in Cote-St-Luc, attended Wagar from 1979-1984 and there was never an occasion that would go by where my friends and i didn't go to Cattleman's at least 3 times a week for pizza and fries ( Best Pizza till this day) and continued thereafter for many years. Like in the days of the TV sitcom Happy Days where the characters Fonzie, Richie, Potsie, Ralph had Arnold's restaurant , those who lived in CSL and Hampstead had Cattleman's. May the many cherished memories be front and center always.

Maureen, Iwas so impressed when Carl & I drove to New Jersey to visit you and your husband Aaron. I was thinking how lucky you were to have a nice husband like Aaron. I was a young man in those days and young people can sense good qualities.’ Eventually moving to Montreal Aaron became a professional restaurateur . My family always went to the Cattleman in those days. Aaron was always a hard working great guy . He will be missed. Maureen we send our condolences . The Garfield’s

Dear Maureen , mark , Alex , jerri , and ofcourse one of my best buddies Junior …… Firstly, I wanna extend our deepest sympathies on behalf of the entire geese family…( Lori and Jeff ) I’m sure I speak for the majority of anybody who grew up in cote Saint Luc during the 70s…. that your husband, father and grandfather was a larger than life character to all of us who were lucky enough to cross his path at the cattlemen….. Still may be the best pizza 🍕 that Montreal ever served…. knowing him personally by being around him and the Blutman family quite frequently, I can truly say he had a heart of gold and was truly a gentle giant…. We will all miss Aaron dearly….. Sincerely The penguin…aka ( the goose )

To Maureen and family. My sincere condolence on the loss of a true gentleman. May he R.I.P.

Nick Lakoumentas - 13 jours

A true gentleman, we became friendly over the years as I used to purposely drive to the Mall to get two slices, and then when he offered delivery service, I saw less of him. However, he or his staff would call to make sure everything was ok with my order. One day at the restaurant Coke was slow in coming to repair his machines, Mr. Blutman became so irate he went out and got cans of Pepsi to give out instead of Coke. What a character, one in a million! My sincere condolences to his family, I will never forget him.
