Beatrice Leitner

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our adored mother Beatrice Leitner nee Huttman, in her 97th year on Saturday, July 19 2025.  Beloved wife of the late Yehuda Leitner.  Loving mother and mother in law of Sam and Liz, Daphne and Martin, David and Pamela. Proud, grandmother of Jonathan (Alize), Maya (Oriel), Jayme (Burak ) Lauren, Benjamin (Taylor)and Nathan.  Proud great grandmother of Jacob, Lev, Emmett and Aria McHugh. Nora and Leon Leitner. Eliyas and Ayla Solak. The family would like to thank Maria for her unwavering care and devotion. Much appreciated thanks to the staff of the Maison St-Raphael as well as the staff at the palliative care unit at the Jewish General Hospital . Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon West, on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Burial at the Congregation Beth Ora section, Kehal Israel Cemetery,  Dollard des Ormeaux. Donations in her memory may be made to Maison St Raphael or the Palliative Care unit Care  of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation 514-340-825. Shiva will be held at her daughter's home, Sunday after services and  Monday Until Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
