Uncle Benny, as we called him as children some 60 years ago, was the best! My brothers and cousins used to tremble waiting for our daily candy treats that he always distributed from his top dresser drawer. He was gentle and quiet, but so caring and kind. His generosity will forever be remembered by the many that he provided for, whenever the need arose. And he shared his deep wisdom and unusual common sense with us, in the most modest but loving way. He was an angel, and we will miss him very much.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family. Although we never had the privilege of meeting him in person, we heard stories of “Uncle Benny “ through the years that conveyed his independence, perseverance and strength of spirit. From this we know that he exemplified a life well lived. May he Rest In Peace and May his memory be a blessing. Baruch Dayan Haemet. Fondly, Marla and Rick.

Ida I am so very sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences. I am sorry that I can't be there but I am in Florida. However, I shall be thinking of you.

So sad, regards to all friends and especially family members. While I unfortunately never had the privilege of meeting "Uncle Ben" -- in fact I possibly would have met him this coming weekend-- I never heard anything but the very sweetest, most generous and kindly things about him from his closest family members. So he left a mark on me too, I will miss him. May he rest in peace after a long life of happily giving to others. Regards and Condolences
