Karen Cohen - 15 days ago

While I had not met Laura many times, my late dad, Eddy Cohen, was her cousin. He spoke highly of her and enjoyed bumping into her at times. It's sad they are both gone now. Maybe they will meet again. My heartfelt sympathies to her family. May she RIP.

For me, Aunt Laura--with her winning smile--always represented the height of grace and class and elegance. In particular, I have fond memories as a young boy of Passover Seders on Lyncroft and visiting Laura and Hy and the family in the Laurentians. My sincere condolences [tanchumai] to Debbie, Neil and their families.

Debbie, Neil and David, I am so sad to hear of Auntie Laura’s passing. Memories of summers long ago in the country came flooding back. She taught me how to do the dog paddle in the crib, she made the best strawberry jam and most important she was always smiling, warm and welcoming and interested in what was going on in our lives. She also was a wonderful supportive sister to grandma Clara in her later years. Cherish your memories and please know that you are in our thoughts. xo Cheryl and Ricky
