Dearest Laurel and Wolfe clan When I read some of these condolences I started to cry. In some way it brought back the loss of my dad . So many things that were written about Norman are all the things that mom and dad would say or the same things that they shared and had in common. Like Michael said we have know you our whole lives and you have shared and been apart of every meaningful event .. Every visit to Florida at Christmas you and Norman took Steven and I and our kids for lunch. That was very special. He always showed interest in what you had to say and he had a memorable laugh and the best smile. The brilliant one. I think when Russel and Jason found each other in DDO no one thought it was cooler than jack and Norman. !!! We will miss him. There are so many memories of a life well lived. We love you and share in your grief . Your memories are plenty ! With love Lauren , Steven , Jess , & Jason

I echo our cousin Ann Chaitin's comments. I too went to Montreal for that wonderful celebration: that memory is a bright part of my collection - a collection that also includes Norman's and Laurrel's wedding in Chicago so many years ago. I am grateful to Kenny, who has been a big part of keeping our generation of cousins in touch, and a good friend to all of us, particularly to Norman. In one way with Norman's passing we have lost an important part of our family, but he lives on in our hearts and our memories, and in the ways he impacted our lives, helping to make us the people that we are. His was indeed a life well lived.
