To Sheila’s family. It is with much sadness that I learned of Sheila’s passing. For over twenty years I worked with Sheila in my accounting practice and came to know her as as a kind and caring person dedicated to looking after her parents , and being extremely proud of her sister and nieces. I greatly admired her dedication to family which was evident as part of her being. While she had health issues at a relatively early age, she faced them with courage and never let them detract from responsibly carrying out her duties at the office in a positive and efficient manner. I send my sincere condolences to Sheila’s family in the hope that memories of her devotion will comfort you at this time and forever. Respectfully, Jack Richer

Frima Rosen - 21 days ago

To Sheila's Family: I was shocked and saddened to see the announcement of Sheila's passing and extend to you all our most sincere condolences. The shock was even greater as only this past Friday I received a cheque in the mail from Sheila, memorializing her parents on their yahrzeits. Now of course I realize it was signed by a power of attorney. I'm sure until her last moment she wanted her parents remembered. I knew her Dad going back more than 30 years as he was a regular worshiper at Young Israel of Montreal, especially at holidays and at times of yahrzeits, He was a kind and sweet man, always coming to the office in person so that we could have a nice chat about family, the world, he was always so considerate. He spoke highly of his daughter who lived with them and after Sarah's passing, even more so as they were together and Sheila took such good care of him. Since Sam's passing, Sheila never missed commemorating her parents' yahrzeits, year after year, and we never knew that she was so ill. It is also meaningful that Sam's yahrzeit is today, Sunday, and Sarah's is on Monday. Let us hope that their souls will be bound together forever and all their memories be a blessing for the entire family who loved them. Should the family wish to continue being notified of all three yahrzeits, please don't hesitate to contact us and we will take care of it for you. I'm personally brokenhearted to lose yet another person in the extended Young Israel Family. May you all stay safe and well in these unprecedented times and the difficult days ahead be comforted with good memories. Sincerely, Frima Rosen, Executive Director, Young Israel of Montreal
