Sheila Marcus-Rouah - 29 days ago

Dear Marcus – Sheinberg Families, Total disbelieve! I am having a very difficult time trying to process what just happened. It is even harder to put those feelings into words. Queenie was always most interested in what was happening in the other person’s life. She was so talented engaging in so many activities with so many groups of people, touching each one in her own personal way and now her loss is being felt by all. I was so happy for her, settling in with Paul to share the rest of her life with. It is too bad the longevity genes both Uncle Ben and Aunt Sarah shared would not be granted to her. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. May these wonderful memories you hold so dear console you today and be a comfort to you forever. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends and the lifetime of these memories. Hold onto them and let them guide you. May you be spared further sorrow. My warmest and heartfelt condolences to all. Sheila

Dear Lesli, David and families. Tragically, I heard that my friend Queenie passed away this week. It was a total shock. Our friendship spanned over 50 years starting at Macdonald College working towards a Teaching Certificate. Subsequently, we spent much time together socially including our husbands. I will never forget the time we did an impromptu weekend trip to New York with our husbands taking in all the sites and living the dream! Queenie had a zest for life; her eyes were always bright and ready for adventure; her beautiful smile radiated around her and her infectious laughter invariably caused others to join in. Above all, she adored and loved her children and grandchildren and will be sorely missed by them as well as everyone who knew her.
