Dear Schwartz Family, Your father Max was part of my teenage years because of my friendship with his late cousin Fay and how much time your father spent at her home . Fay’s parents , along with the Kolodny’s were his Canadian relatives who provided him and his sister Libby , sanctuary in Canada .( Because I spent lots of time at Fay’s I also knew Libby well )He was so good looking and had a wonderful personality and became more Canadian than all of us , including his mastery of the English language Max was like our big brother , suave and man about town. I’m sorry to hear that he passed away and I just wanted you all to know that he touched my life and certainly that of Fay’s May your memories sustain you in your sadness and brighten your life Sincerely Sue Carol Isaacson

Dear Schwartz Family, My mother and I were deeply saddened to learn about Max's passing. The moment we saw his face, our minds immediately raced down memory lane. My late father, Michael Gluck, travelled for Daymor Dress and carried the elegant line with pride and care. Whenever we went up to the factory, Max greeted us with his charm and open arms and treated us like family. I will never forget when he surprised us with his presence during my father's shiva back in 2011. On behalf of my mother Elisabeth and myself, please accept our sincere and heartfelt condolences.
