Arlene Turowitz

Peacefully, with her girls by her side, we announce the passing of Arlene, on Saturday, October 31st . Devoted daughter of the late Laura Singer (Goldstein). Cherished wife of the late Irving. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Lisa and Eric, Shana and Jonathan. Adored Nana of Lauren. Dear sister of the late Florence Blanshay, Robin Turack and Steven Singer.

Arlene was a positive person who always saw the good in people and situations. She was adventurous, moving to Boston to be with her girls in her later years. She was selfless in her caring and nurturing nature to everyone who had the good fortune of being in her company. She had an open-door policy when living in Montreal and extended her hospitality to all of her friends, her children's friends and family. She was the ultimate hostess and caregiver by nature, hosting frequent pool parties and planning numerous celebrations. She will be terribly missed and always remembered by her many cousins, friends, nieces and all who had the privilege of knowing her. A special thank you to Casandra, her caregiver, for her exceptional care, love and support.
