Allan Kastner

It is with great sadness and a huge hole in our hearts, that we announce the passing of Allan Kastner on May 14, 2025.  A loving husband and best friend to the late Barbara Pozy Kastner for whom he spent his latter years as her dedicated caregiver and fierce protector up to her last moments. He will be greatly missed by his two devoted daughters, Carrie Lee Kastner Black and Shelly Mia Kastner, as well as his sons-in-law, Michael Black and Jason McPherson. Allan cherished above and beyond his loving grandsons Ryan and Tyler Black and leaves behind his sister-in-law Rhoda Kastner. Allan is now reunited with his beautiful wife Barbara, his dearly departed birth mother Ida Bercovitch, second mother Luba Kastner, his father Nathan Kastner, siblings Freddy Kastner and Betty Nowa.  We would like to give special thanks to the caregivers, nurses and staff of The Maimonides Geriatric Centre.
