Andy Stitt (Belson)

Suddenly, at the age of sixty-one. Much loved husband of Theresa Ricketts. Proud father of Anita, and Alison. Dear son of Suzanne Belson and the late Robert Stitt. Loving brother and brother-in-law of David Belson and Jamie McAllan. Dear nephew of Ellis and Barbara Burrows. Andy will be enormously missed by his family, Theresa’s family in Jamaica, by his friends, and all those who knew him.

Andy would talk to anyone and everyone - from politicians to professors to the guy at the bus stop. He was charming, fun, and loved by friends and family in Canada, Jamaica, and across the planet.

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, September 1 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 4999 ave. Earnscliffe Tuesday following burial until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
