Suddenly, after a brief and unexpected illness, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Doting daughter of Shirley and the late Nathan Wasser, as well as the late Evelyn and the late Arnold Kastner. Loyal and devoted wife of Barry for nearly fifty years. Loving and dedicated mother of Ryan Kastner and Sabrina Salvo, Jaime Kastner and Jordan Smolar, Derek Kastner and Romy Schick. Exceptional Bubby of Adrian, Sienna, and Sloane. Cherished sister and best friend of Pnina and Murray. Dear sister of Leon and Bonnie. Sister-in-law of Sharon and Harry Friedmann, Bonnie and Freddy Master, and Irwin Kastner and Coleen Doherty. Beloved, most fun aunt to many nieces and nephews. Esta will be missed by an amazing network of family, friends, and all those who were touched by her sparkle.
