Frances Mann (née Chyfetz)

Peacefully, in her 94th year, on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Wife of the late Morton Mann, her adoring husband of almost sixty-five years. Proud mother and mother-in-law of Hilary and Shelley Mann, Reesa Mann, Darryl Mann and Andrea Galley. Loving Grandma of Ryan Mann and Layci Calloway, Talia Mann, Jessica Mann, and Olivia and Cory Georgiadis. Great-grandmother of Noah Mann; and step-grandmother of Olivia Johnson and Zoe Johnson. Daughter of the late Mary and the late Jack Chyfetz. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Leona and the late Arnold Kostiner; and sister-in-law of Zanny and Charlotte Mann, the late Dr. Harry and the late Adina Mann, the late Louis Mann, the late Sarah and the late Sydney Marcovitch. Loving aunt and great-aunt to her many nieces and nephews and a very close cousin and lifelong friend to many. She was an accomplished musician and a proud teacher to her many students over numerous decades. The family is grateful to Susan and the entire staff at the Jewish Eldercare for their outstanding compassion, empathy, kindness and wonderful care. She will be sadly missed.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, August 17 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Dollard-des-Ormeaux.
