Gerald (Gerry) Goldberg

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, June 29, 2026, at the age of ninety-one. Beloved husband of Marie-Berthe Daigneault, with whom he shared twenty-nine wonderful years of marriage. He was previously married for thirty-seven years to the late Sandra Breslin, the mother of his three children. Devoted and deeply loved father and father-in-law of Lynne and Alain, Adam and Dinorah, Peter and Daphnée. Loving stepfather of Isabelle Larocque and her fiancé Scott Lovegrove, Philip Larocque and his fiancée Marie-Lou Letourneau. Proud and adoring Papa of Jordan, Rachel, Samantha and Emilio; Joshua, Seth and Alexandra; Samuel, Justin, Alexa, Zara and Mila; Mischa; Sasha and Loucas. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Harvey and Solange Goldberg.

Gerry was truly larger than life. A proud Zionist, passionate philanthropist, an accomplished entrepreneur having founded Bouclair and a lifelong tennis enthusiast. He brought energy, excitement and determination to everything he did. He lived fully, loved his family deeply and left an unforgettable impression on everyone fortunate enough to have met him. He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched.

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday June 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom Congregation Section, Mount Royal Cemetery. Shiva at 1280 Sherbrooke Street West, Tuesday through Thursday.

Paisiblement, entouré de sa famille aimante, le lundi 29 juin 2026, à l’âge de quatre-vingt-onze ans. Époux bien-aimé de Marie-Berthe Daigneault, avec qui il a partagé vingt-neuf merveilleuses années de mariage. Il avait auparavant été marié pendant trente-sept ans à la regrettée Sandra Breslin, mère de ses trois enfants. Père et beau-père dévoué et profondément aimé de Lynne et Alain, Adam et Dinorah, Peter et Daphnée. Cher beau-père de Isabelle Larocque et de son fiancé Scott Lovegrove, Philip Larocque et de sa fiancée Marie-Lou Letourneau. Grand-papa fier et adoré de Jordan, Rachel, Samantha et Emilio; Joshua, Seth et Alexandra; Samuel, Justin, Alexa, Zara et Mila; Mischa; Sasha et Loucas. Cher frère et beau-frère de Harvey et Solange Goldberg.

Gerry était véritablement plus grand que nature. Fier Zioniste, philanthrope passionné, entrepreneur accompli ayant fondé Bouclair et fervent amateur de tennis toute sa vie, il apportait énergie, enthousiasme et détermination à tout ce qu’il entreprenait. Il a vécu pleinement, a profondément aimé sa famille et a laissé une impression inoubliable à tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de le connaître. Il manquera énormément et sera chéri à jamais par sa famille, ses amis et tous ceux dont il a touché la vie.

Les funérailles auront lieu chez Paperman & Fils, 3888, rue Jean-Talon Ouest, le mardi 30 juin 2026 à 14 h. L’inhumation suivra à la section de la Congrégation Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom du cimetière Mont-Royal. La Shiva se tiendra au 1280, rue Sherbrooke Ouest, du mardi au jeudi.
