Howard passed away on February 14th, with his dear friend David by his side. He was born to Ruth and Kenneth Moscovitch, younger brother to Phillip Moscovitch. In his younger years he was an exceptional artist and poet. Howard faced certain barriers in life but always maintained a wicked sense of humour and brilliant musical knowledge. Howard was kind and gentle, and held an immense amount of respect and politeness towards others as he moved through the world.
We would like to thank Dr. Yang and the medical staff at the ICU and the ward staff on K7 at the Jewish General Hospital, and the thoughtful and caring reception he received at the palliative care unit at Mt. Sinai Hospital, and his social worker, Kenisha, who has supported him through the years and Tirat Carmel Care Home for their exceptional care for Howard over the years.
He is survived by his nieces, Brenna Levin-Moscovitch and Lexi Moscovitch.
Graveside service on Tuesday, February 17 at 12:00 p.m. at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva strictly private.
