Ira Barry Rosen

Quietly and peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2026.  He was a father, a grandfather and a brother to Lenore and Michael. Son of Moe and Dinah Rosen. 

One was lucky to have known and be a friend to him. He was generous and loyal, and Ira always spoke his mind. His bark was truly bigger than his bite. Ira was very grateful for the loyalty from his good friend Harold and Merle for her delicious soup that Ira loved and appreciated immensely; and from the Applebaum family.

Special gratitude for the exceptional care and compassion to the staff at the Jewish General ICU. 

Graveside service on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Young Israel of Chomedey Congregation Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay. Contributions in his memory can be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation at 514-340-8251.
