With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Joe (Yosi) Leb, who lost his battle on the morning of May 3, 2025. Beloved husband of Cypora Leb (Altman). Son of the late Piry and the late Mishi Leb. Son-in-law of the late Moshe and the late Miriam Altman. Brother and brother-in-law of Giora and Hannah Leb (of Israel), Dr. Boaz and Anita Lev (of Israel), Yair and Nira Altman, Annette and Chaim Alon. Adored uncle and great uncle — Joe loved spending time with his Montreal nephews — Miki, Daniel, Gabush and Alex.
Special thanks to Dr. Blair Schwartz and Dr. Daphne for their exceptional care and compassion, and to the nurses and staff at Pavillion K 6th floor at the Jewish General Hospital.
