Peacefully, on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Beloved wife of Michel Alkoby. Loving, devoted and courageous mother of Matan, Ben, and Shelly. Daughter of the late Emmanuel and the late Cohava Elkoubi. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Eli Elkoubi, Elad and Sharit Elkoubi. Special aunt of Leo, Gabriel, Jonathan, Michael, and Rebecca Elkoubi. Sister-in-law of Karine and Natalie. Keren was a brave and unwavering fighter right to the end. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, dear friends and angels, all of whom know who they are. She was known as Mora Keren to the hundreds of her students in the Montreal Jewish community, educating the next generation to the love of Gd, our Tanach, the love of Israel and holocaust education. She will also be dearly missed by her uncles, and cousins from France, Israel and Untied States. The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Joshua Sabari from NYU, Dr. Alexandra Miller from NYU, Dr. Moishe Liberman from CHUM, and Dr. Carmella Pepe of the Jewish General Hospital. Many thanks to our dear neighbours and friends. Deepest gratitude to the Jewish community of Brooklyn New York, which showered Keren and her family with endless Chesed. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday June 4 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery. D.D.O. Donations in Keren’s memory may be made to the incredible Habayit Organization, https://www.habayit.org/keren.
