On Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Beloved husband of Esther Neumann for 37 years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Jonathan Niederhoffer and Blair Shegelski, Naomi Niederhoffer and Gedalya Frankel. Cherished Saba of Asher Grey, and Uri Aharon. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Fay and the late Arnie Niederhoffer. Uncle of Karen and Joel and their families. Melvyn will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and students, as well as by all who knew and loved him.
