Moshe Saban

Peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 10, 2025, surrounded by family. Best friend and soulmate of Paula Schor for almost 42 years. Fiercely proud father of Melissa (Jordan), Jeremy (Christie) and Bianca (Sebastien). Adoring Saba to Skye, Bodhi, Luna, Leo, Joseph, and Adam. Predeceased by his parents Raphael and Lisa (nee Jajati).  Dear son-in-law of Norma and Leo Schor. He will be profoundly missed by his siblings Jack (Iris), Denise (the late Moti) and Shella (Elias); by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Elaine and Jim, as well as many extended family members and friends.  

After growing up in Beirut and moving to Israel, he completed his studies at the Technion. He then moved to Montreal where he built his engineering firm and met Paula. Together, they travelled the world, ate good food and raised their three strong and successful children. Moshe had an appetite for life like no other. He was never too busy to fit in a game of golf, a cup of coffee or a "quick bite" with anyone who asked; often all in the same day. Above all, Moshe’s proudest accomplishment was his family. He seized every opportunity to brag about his children and grandchildren and he never missed an event, no matter how small. To Moshe, every school event required a celebratory dinner and every kid’s tennis match was as big as a Wimbledon final. 

Moshe’s energy and spirit lit up every room he was in. His incredible love of life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  

The family would like to thank the many members of Moshe’s health care team who provided care throughout his illness.
