Ronnie Wexelman

Peacefully, at home, at the age of ninety-two. Beloved and devoted partner and soulmate of Lila Cutler. Loving father of Debbie Wexelman and Andy Katz and Steven Wexelman. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Norm and Irene Wexelman, Marilyn Dubrofsky and the late Marvin Gilary, and Irwin and Tobi Wexelman. Proud Zaidie of Ashley and Adam, Samara and Joe, Adam and Gil, Meaghan, Lauren and Robbie, and Skye and Sam. Cherished great-grandfather of Chloe, Kayden, Liev, Eytan, Aurelie, Reeves, Rocky and Kaia. He will also be lovingly remembered by Lila’s children, Stephanie and Larry and Sheldon and Andrea, and her grandchildren, Lianne and Adam, Jillian and Jamie, and Jamie and Sam. An avid golfer and skier for decades, Ronnie had a true zest for life. People naturally gravitated toward his easygoing, charismatic personality. He is survived by Gertie Wexelman, the mother of his children. He was deeply loved and will be missed by his nieces, nephews and all who knew him.

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, September 25 at 12:00 noon.  Burial at the Beth Israel Beth Aaron Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Due to the holiday of Sukkot, shiva will be held on Friday following the burial at 127 Lewis Avenue in Westmount until 5:00 p.m. On Monday, visitors are welcome from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the same address.
