Sheila Kirstein (née Sinclair)

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our mother, Sheila Sinclair-Kirstein who passed unexpectedly in her eighty-ninth year on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Jack (Yonnie) Kirstein for fifty-four years. She is survived by her children Andy & Jackie Kirstein, Leslie and Steven Rawas. Grandmother to Gregory and Suzy , Richie and Brooke, Emily and Jesse, Erica, Julia and Aidan. Great-grandmother to Cameron, Dylan, and Blake. Sister-in-law to Mark London and the late Irving Kirstein. Special thanks to her caregiver Margarita (Rita) Shames, P.A.B. Laura Barros and all of the incredible nurses and staff on Hope 4A for their wonderful care. 

Born in Montreal in 1936, Sheila lived a long and full life marked by quiet determination and resilience. She faced her later years with grace and remained engaged with the world around her in her own thoughtful way.

Graveside funeral on Monday July 14th at 1:30 p.m at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
